Who we are – Road Safety RDI

We are a young entrepreneur team of researchers under
the leading force of Jose A. Aguilera, a Spanish inventor
determined to improve Road Safety systems by applying
RDI.

We work from our workshop in Malaga,Spain, to enhance
the conventional Road Safety devices aiming to ensure
a safe place for everyone through innovation.

Our first steps date back to 2009 from the day we started
with the idea of creating a speed reducer that would not
alter the travel of a respectful and sensible driver.

Every year we get new investments and today Badennova
is supported by university professors, researchers and
business men. European Union trough CDTI and Regional
Development Funds also help financing the project.

Our goal is to reasearch, develop and implement innovative
products using the most advanced technologies that
contribute to Security and Quality of life.

We want Badennova to become a leader in Road Safety,
promoting innovative smart solutions for everyone
everywhere with a strong committment to the people
and Environment.

What we do – smart solutions

RDI is the core value of Badennova. We dedicate ourselves
to offer the best solutions in road safety for everyone.

Our main innovative solution is the Intelligent Speed
Bump (BIV in Spanish). A speed reducer that differs
from conventional ones in difficulting only the travel of
exceeding speed vehicles.

BIV’s unique design activates the fluid inside the bump
at exceeding speed, maintaining the confort driving in
respectful drivers.

We have a wide range of research areas mainly focused
on Road Safety, collaborating with universities, public
institutions and Road Safety associations and promoters
to offer the best smart solutions.

How we do it Our own RDI systems

Our research is unique in its field, therefore we have
developed our own tools and equipment to test our
products. We started from scratch,designing and
ellaborating our own material so that we can ensure the
maximum eficacy in devices such as the BIV.
One of our main assets is the Wheel, a system to examine
and check the resistance of our bump, hitting the bump
at more than 2,800 r.p.m and a power range from 600
to 3,600 W.

The necessary facilities to develop this project are outdoors
where we can also test the BIV under real weather
conditions.

Acknowledgements awards and certifications

Badennova is growing and demonstrating its potential for
providing smart solutions in Road Safety. We have obtained
national and international awards even at a mere prototype
phase of BIV.

FESVIAL (Spanish fundation for Road Safety) honored us
with the National Road Safety Award 2010 for the
development of the BIV and Intertraffic Amsterdam
authorities were also impressed by our accomplishment
rewarding us with the Innovation Award in Road Safety.
These acknowledgements encourage us to keep
researching and making efforts to improve the quality
of safety for everyone.

We are certified by TÜV ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 as
part of our commitment to Quality and Environment. In
Badennova we care for what we do and how we do it.

Sustainability committment to a Green world

Badennova is aware of the importance of our natural
resources and Environment, therefore our international
standards are just the beginning to ensure that we will
protect the Global Environment.

We think of our products in a long-term perspective,
designing strategies for a better waste management and
the most efficient treatment of recycled materials. As well
as contributing to reduce carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions
and to reduce fossil fuel consumption.

In addition, our environmental policy states the use of
biodegradable fluids that respect our natural environment
and provides smart and safe materials.
